Bob Lewis

Robert H. “Bob” Lewis, 69, Grand Forks, died Tuesday, May 19, 2020 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks.

Robert Henry Lewis, the son of Henry and Donna (Sykes) Lewis, was born in Grand Forks on November 15, 1950.   He married Donna Hollarn on June 5, 1971 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Grand Forks.

Robert served in the US Navy on the USS Horne.  Bob was employed as a letter carrier with the U. S. Postal Service for many years.  Bob enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, acrylic painting and especially spending time with his grandsons. 

Bob is survived by his wife, Donna, Grand Forks;  a daughter, Landi (Chad) Larson, Hawley, Minnesota;  sons, Shad (Susie) Lewis of Junction City, Kansas, and Joey (Heidi) Lewis, Grand Forks;  5 grandchildren, Caidin, Bridger, Kevin, Jackson, and Kolten;  sisters, Nancy (Gary) Enright, East Grand Forks, Minnesota and Judee (Roger) Coons, Grand Forks; several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Donna Lewis.

Private Family Memorial Services will be held in Amundson Funeral Home, Grand Forks.  Interment with military honors will be on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. in Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks.   Social distancing guidelines will be observed, and face coverings are recommended.
