With heavy hearts and much love, we are sad to announce the passing of William (Bill) David Walker, our loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. After a very sudden illness Bill passed surrounded by the love and prayers of those who held him dear on Monday, March 10th, 2025.

Bill is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Catherine; daughters: Dawn (Gibby), Tina (Greg), Tanya (Dustin), Stephanie (Josh) and Kristen; grandchildren: Braeden, Kaitlin, Lenni, Celina, Julius, Anakin, Darion and Auryanna; great-grandson, Sawyer William; siblings: Sue Lynn, Karen Kay, Kimberly, Scott, Mike and numerous nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his bonus daughter, Deanna and grandson, Mason as well as numerous in-laws as there are to many to name. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ladonna; brothers: Donald, Ricky and Kenny; granddaughter, baby Sarah and his four legged bestfriend, Walle

Born on June 20th, 1954 in Terra Haute, Indiana, Bill spent 34 years proudly serving in the U.S. Air Force and ended his career as Chief Master Sargent. After his honorable discharge, Bill moved to Grand Forks, ND to be close to his Canadian family. Bill followed his next passion working as an IT specialist. More recently, Bill discovered his love and passion for fishing. His favorite pastime was spending time on the dock with his family,  he especially looked forward to his ‘guys fishing trip” with his sons-in-law, Gibby, Greg and good-friend Chris. When he wasn’t at the dock, you would find him behind the grill with his good friend and brother-in-law, Rick.

Bill lived everyday to the fullest, loved by everyone & always spread kindness everywhere he was.

There will be no funeral service at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date with family in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please consider a donation to a local Animal Shelter.
