Vicki J. Ripplinger, 62, of Manvel, ND died Friday June 17, 2022, at her home surrounded by family. Vicki Jeanine VanCamp was born March 15, 1960, in Grand Forks the daughter of Ronald VanCamp and Jeanine Kary.

Vicki graduated from East Grand Forks Senior High School in May of 1979. She married Manuel Hernandez in December of 1979 and made their home with their two children in East Grand Forks until his passing. Vicki married Scott Ripplinger in June of 1991 in Grand Forks.

Vicki enjoyed gardening and volunteering at the Myra Museum. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren who she played games, sang songs, and created art projects with. Her love of art is what made her an excellent cake decorator for many years at Hugo’s.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years Scott Ripplinger (Manvel, ND), Daughter, Rochelle (David) Nelson, Manvel, ND, Sisters, LouAnn Young of East Grand Forks, MN, Leah (Jeff) Byzewski of Grand Forks, ND, Brothers, Scott (Mary) VanCamp, Grand Forks, ND, Jeff VanCamp of Grand Forks, ND, grandchildren Johnnie Nelson, Mya Hernandez, Callee Hernandez, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Vicki in death is her parents Ronald VanCamp, and Jeanine (Matt) Kary, her husband Manuel Hernandez, and her son Manuel Hernandez II.

Vicki’s family would like to thank Altru Cancer Center and Hospice of the Red River Valley for the excellent care that she received at the end of her life.

Memorial Service: Thursday, June 23^th at 6:00 p.m. at Amundson Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Memorials are preferred to the Myra Museum, Hospice of the Red River Valley, or Altru Cancer Center.
