Timothy W. Cagle, 47, Grand Forks, ND, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 in Grand Forks.

Timothy Wayne Cagle was born on January 18, 1974 in Grand Forks, ND. In 1984, he moved with his family to Bottineau, ND, where he attended school. He moved back to Grand Forks 25 years ago where he gained a second family at 2720.

Timmy is survived by his loving mom, Karen Lauckner; brothers, Gene Cagle (Kristi), Joey Lauckner, Terry Lauckner (Jen), and Michael Lauckner (Michelle); sister, Lori Hanson (Stephen); his special Grandma, Lucille; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his entire family at 2720.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Don Lauckner; his brother, Jimmy Cagle; his grandpa, Harold (Tex) McWilliams; and his aunts, Diane (Chickie) Jorstad and Tracy Christley.

If you ever needed a smile all you had to do was spend some time with Timmy. His laugh and smiles were infectious. He loved to tease. Timmy had a way that made you feel that there was always some kind of joke that only he knew the punch line to. He didn’t have the words to tell us how he felt but you could tell by his expressions how he was feeling. He loved movies, music and his favorite blocks. He was never known to say no thank you to a cookie or a glass of chocolate milk. He was strong willed and determined with a happy, fun loving heart.

The following was written by his brother Gene:

We will miss you, Timmy. Today your pain ended but now you get to be that eternal goof ball that we all know you to be. You get to run with Jimmy’s hat, fool with all your relatives in Heaven and flirt with all the pretty girls. You get to keep that smile that we all love to see and continue  your playful laugh that is so beautiful to hear. You are missed but we are so grateful that your suffering has ended.

Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home.
