Timmy Allen “Charbs” Charboneau, 53, died Friday, June 10, 2022, in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks.

Tim was born May 6, 1969, to Cathy Charboneau (Dowd) in Oklahoma City, OK. He grew up and graduated from Shawnee High School in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Timmy married Laurie Ann Carr on April 29, 1995, in St. Andrew’s Church, Moore, Oklahoma. They moved to Grand Forks in 2004. He worked at LM Wind Power for 16 years.

He shared his values with his children. He loved to work on cars, building and fixing things, doing woodworking, hunting, fishing, going to concerts and he was lead singer in a band. He loved spending time with his family and being with his grandchildren.

Timmy is survived by his wife Laurie, children: Chris Allen Charboneau, Tessa Raquel Charboneau, and Skylar Niquole Charboneau; two grandchildren: Nikole Rose Charboneau, Daylen Odell Charboneau; mother, Cathy Mae Dowd Charboneau, sister Tammy Raquel (Wade) Karty, and nephew Kyle Karty.

He was preceded in death by infant twin sisters.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Amundson Funeral Home, Grand Forks.
Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the start of the service.
