Theresa Alma (Radke) Robinson, 75, passed away on (Easter Sunday) April 4, 2021, at her home in Grand Forks, ND, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous 3 ½ year battle with lung cancer.
Theresa was born April 25, 1945, in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Alma (Holweger) & Carl Radke. She spent most her childhood years in Grand Forks before her and her family moved to Badger, MN. In 10th grade her and her family then moved to Gilby where she graduated from Midway High School in 1963.
She met Duane Robinson while working in Grafton. They married on June 17, 1967 and made their home in Drayton where together they raised their 3 children.
Theresa worked as a secretary at HE Eversons in Grafton. She then had an in-home daycare, in Drayton, while her children were in school. Once her children were in high school, she closed her daycare and became a screen printer at Originals in Drayton. She continued to work at Originals until her retirement. After her retirement, her and Duane moved to Grand Forks to be closer to their grandchildren.
She enjoyed going to her grandchildren's school and sport events, spending time at her camper at Union Lake Sarah Campground with family and friends, We Fest trips with her lake friends, shopping trips to Albertville with her daughters, and traveling with her sister.
Theresa is remembered for her homemade mint brownies and knoephla soup, as well as her love for Coke.
She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all the peoples lives she had touched.
Theresa is survived by her husband, Duane; children, Tammy (Scott) Kuznia, Patti (Cam) Jorgenson, Danny (Kayla) Robinson; 9-grandchildren, Kayle (Ryan) Soiney, Zach (Kristel) Kuznia, Sophie (Sam) Anderson, Ian (Faith) Kuznia, and Matthew (Jessica) Kuznia, Emily Jorgenson, Addison and Dawson Robinson; 8 great-grandchildren, Ryker and Rhett Soiney, Gabriella, Emmitt, and Aurelia Anderson, Rose Kuznia, Jaxten Kuznia, and Baby Boy Kuznia due in May; brothers, Duane (Linda) Radke, Ray (Carol) Radke, Tawney Radke; sister, JoAnne (Tommy) Bushaw; brother-in-law, Dennis (Nancy) Robinson and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Doris Thies; granddaughter, Faith Kuznia, and her father/mother in law, Albert and Aurlie Robinson.
**Guests will be asked to practice COVID 19 precautions and wear a mask and social distance.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 9 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Grand Forks.
VISITATION: Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at Amundson Funeral Home. The visitation will continue one hour prior to the funeral service in the church.
INTERMENT: Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
