THEODORE E. JAROMBEK

Theodore E. Jarombek, age 89 of Grand Forks, died on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Altru hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the Amundson Funeral Home in Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will be one hour before service time.

Theodore Edward Jarombek, a son of Leo and Lenora (Radonski) Jarombek, was born on May 11, 1929 in Walsh County. He was reared and attended school in Manvel. After the completion of his education he began working for the Great Northern Railroad in 1949 as a truck driver then on the rail and finally stationed in Grand Forks as a regional manager. He was married to Theresa Kjorvestad. They had four sons. This marriage later ended. Theodore retired from the Railroad in 1990 and settled in Grand Forks. He Married Lucy Winter. She passed away. He has continued to make Grand Forks his home.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family. Theodore was involved with the Fraternal Order of the Eagles for many years.

He is survived by sons, Robert (Cathy) Jarombek of Grand Forks and Roland Jarombek of Kansas City, MO; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Aneta Stauss and a brother Raymond Jarombek.

Theodore was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Dale and Allen; 5 sisters and one brother.
