Shaun Douglas Sabin, age 38, passed away unexpectedly from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Saturday, January 19th 2019 in Grand Forks ND. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Amundson Funeral Home in Grand Forks. Visitation will be one hour before serviced time. Burial will happen at a later date.
Shaun was born on July 12th 1980 in Wiesbaden, Germany to parents David and Tammy (Bowers) Sabin. Shaun was born into a military family; his father was enlisted in the United States Air Force which lead them to being stationed at the Grand Forks Air Force Base. Shaun attended Central High School in Grand Forks, ND. After High School Shaun was married to Stephanie Millsap for a short time, they had a daughter, Madyson. Shaun worked many jobs before meeting his wife, Estella (Moncada) Sabin in 2002. Shaun, Estella and step-son Dalton moved to Arkansas in 2004 where Shaun and Estella were later married. To this union there was a daughter Azayla and a son Linkoln. Shaun worked as an iron worker until 2014 when they moved back to Grand Forks, ND.
Shaun’s passions were weight lifting and getting lost in his music. Shaun was deeply involved with everything that involved his wife, children and family. His friends and family would describe Shaun as a loving and caring family man who would do anything to make his wife and children's lives happier and easier.
Shaun is survived by his loving wife Estella (Moncada) Sabin, his daughter, Azayla; and his son Linkoln all of Grand Forks, ND. daughter Madyson of Ottawa, KS; step-son Dalton (Ally) Jerome and granddaughter, London all of Blytheville, AR; parents David and Tammy (Bowers) Sabin of Grafton, ND; brothers Jeremy and Karl Sabin of Grand Forks, ND; nephews Paxton and Easton Sabin (Who Shaun loved dearly); mother-in-law Kathy Moncada of Grand Forks, ND; Grand Father Ralph Sabin of Boston, Mass.
Shaun was preceded in death by his grandmother, Annette and grandfather, Monroe Smith; grandmother, Margret Sabin; father-in-law Daniel Moncada as well as great-grandparents.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the family to help with their children.
