Shannon Marie Quern, 56, of Fisher, MN passed away on Friday, March 1st, 2024, at home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Shannon was born October 17th, 1967, in Crookston, MN to Darryl and Lenaye (Farder) Quern. She was a graduate of East Grand Forks Senior High School, and a confirmed member of Fisher Lutheran Church. She was employed at the Crookston ODC for 32 years. She participated in the Crookston REM events and activities throughout her life.

Shannon enjoyed music, movies, writing, and shopping. She collected athletic jerseys and liked watching NASCAR and Bison football games on TV. She loved meeting new people and was everybody's friend.

Treasured memories are left with her parents, Darryl and Lenaye Quern, Fisher MN; her sister, Stacey (Joel) Asp, Harwood ND; brother, Brent (Melissa) Quern, West Fargo ND; nephews, Dylan Quern and Daniel Asp; nieces, Andrea (Josef) Samuelson and Lilly Quern, as well as many other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Vernon and Florence Quern and Orville and Leila Farder.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9th, 2024, at Fisher Lutheran Church with visitation taking place from 1:30 p.m. until the start of the service. Interment will be at Granville Cemetery, Oslo, MN at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
