Click below for a link to Sandy's memorial service: https://youtu.be/xXPQvp2l0Is Sandra Morin passed away peacefully, on April 29, 2021, at her home, with Valley Senior Living staff by her side. Sandy was born on November 10, 1949, in Wahpeton ND, to Roman and Grace Morin. Sandy attended Pembina Public School through the 8th grade. Sandy moved around a bit due to her medical needs and ended up in Grand Forks, ND in 1985, where Development Homes began providing care for her. She resided at the 1551 group home, 101 group home , and then moved to the 802 group home in 1994. During this time, she attended day programs with Grand Forks Growth and Support and LISTEN day program. She loved attending her day program and playing Bingo and singing. She lived at the 802 group home for 14 years with mostly the same peers. In 2016 Sandy moved to Valley Senior Living on the Lanark neighborhood, where she quickly became staff favorite and loved the activities provided to her. Sandy loved music by Elvis, dancing, dressing up for the holidays, and she loved to play Bingo. She also loved her romantic comedy movies, joking around and playing board games. Staff at Valley Senior Living cared dearly for Sandy, and she loved living on Lanark and visiting with the staff, their families, and dogs. She will be dearly missed by all of those that knew her. Sandy is survived by: her Mother, Grace Morin; and 2 brothers and their families Roman Morin and Lyman Morin. She enters into eternity with her father, Roman Morin, and her older brother Kenneth Morin. Sandy’s family plans to lay her to rest, at her family cemetery, in Ashland, Montana. A memorial service is pending.
