Sandra Mae Blair

Sandra Mae Blair, 85 of Grand Forks, North Dakota died Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at her home.

Sandra was born on May 15, 1938, the daughter of James and Alvina (Wold) Johnson in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She was raised and educated in Grand Forks, graduating from Grand Forks Central High School.On October 13, 1956, Sandra married Robert Blair in Grand Forks.  The couple began their family in Grand Forks where they raised their four children. Sandra worked at Young Drug for twenty plus years and Skip’s Budget Drug for twenty plus years.

Sandra enjoyed reading, word search puzzles, having coffee with her neighbors and watching western shows and UND hockey. She loved to eat out at Perkins and the Northside Café. Sandra’s greatest enjoyment was time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Sandra is survived by her sons, David (Teresa) of Humble, TX, Darrin of Grand Forks, ND; daughters, Danine (Robert) Lenz of Thompson, ND, and Dawn (Brien) Lunski of Grafton, ND; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, sisters, Carol and Phyllis, numerous nieces and nephews.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert (2022), a grandchild, Chad Blair, brothers, Mark, Rod and James Johnson, sisters, Linda Harris and Karen Moen.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Amundson Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Amundson Funeral Home.
