Corryne Stadstad, age 92 of Manvel, ND passed away on August 30th, 2020 at the Northstar Manor Nursing Home in Warren, MN.
Born to Clarence and Ruth Hoverson on July 17th, 1928, Corryne attended Manvel Public School and Trinity Lutheran Church growing up.
Corryne married Robert Stadstad on July 29th, 1945 in Manvel, ND and they made their home on a farm near Manvel. They welcomed their first son, Darryl Stadstad and later, Douglas Stadstad.
Corryne was a loving and devoted wife. Robert and she were best friends and it showed. Corryne loved being a mother and her sons meant the world to her. She loved spoiling and spending time with her two grandchildren, Heather and Holly. Corryne was a good cook and an even better baker. She enjoyed gardening and the vegetable garden she planted each year was always big and bountiful. Corryne also had a love of music and was a talented organist, pianist, and vocalist. She could throw a party with the best of them and had an eye for design.
Robert and she enjoyed traveling the US in their motor home and spending time at their lake cabin at Devils Lake, ND. They also wintered in Mesa, AZ where they would spend time with their friends playing pinochle and enjoying the weather.
Corryne enjoyed her life, had the family she wanted, and was madly in love with her husband who thought the world of her.
Survivors include: her son, Darryl Stadstad, Manvel, ND; her two granddaughters, Heather (Richard) Bushaw, Grand Forks, ND and Holly (Ross) Fugleberg, Chandler, AZ and her great-granddaughter, Brynn Bushaw.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Robert Stadstad and son Douglas Stadstad.
A memorial service will be held in later 2021.
