Rose Mary Dombrowski, 80, Grand Forks, peacefully passed away on April 15, 2024, at Edgewood Assisted Living – Memory Care in Grand Forks, after battling dementia.

Rose Mary was born on September 2, 1943, in Lancaster, MN, where she was raised and graduated high school in 1961. She married John Dombrowski in East Grand Forks on June 6, 1964, and they resided in Honolulu, Hawaii. They moved back to Grand Forks in 1965, where she worked for the Dakotah Hotel, and Plainsman Motel. Rose Mary raised her three children while operating a daycare at home and worked for several years at the Westward Ho.

Her favorite hobbies were playing BINGO, working on puzzle books, cooking, and baking. She enjoyed watching game shows with Wheel of Fortune being her favorite. She also loved to watch the Food channel and all the programs on TLC, Dateline and 20/20. She had a love of animals of all kinds, especially dogs and cats, and they loved her too.  

She is survived by her husband John, daughters: Bobbi Jo Dombrowski, Cindy Schmitt; son Jeremy (Julie) Dombrowski; granddaughters: Reagan (Nelson) Espinoza, Kayleigh (Trevor) Lampman, Karhder Schmitt; grandson Jason Dombrowski, great granddaughter Charlotte Espinoza, half-brother Dwayne (Marsha) Clow, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Clow, maternal grandparents: Anton and Cecila Kushinski, aunts: Laura Mishler, Victoria Carroll, Martha Knutson, Caroline Kushinski; and uncles: Carl Kushinski, Roland Kushinski, and Ray Kushinski, and niece Tracy Clow.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at Amundson Funeral Home.
 Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the start of the service.
