Robert “Bob” Blair passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022 at his home in Grand Forks, ND.  He was 84.

Bob was born on May 14, 1937 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to George and Pearl (Steenerson) Blair.  He was raised and received his education in Grand Forks, graduating from Grand Forks Central High School in 1955.  In November of 1954, Bob enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly served until his honorable discharge in 1958.  On October 13, 1956, Robert married Sandra Johnson in Grand Forks.  The couple began their family in Grand Forks where they raised their 4 children.

Bob worked as a parts manager for Pillsbury Company for 33 years and then RDO for 10 years before retirement.

Enjoyed grilling, golfing, and fixing anything and everything.  He was often know to help others fix broken tools and engines or equipment.  He really enjoyed giving people a hard time in a fun-loving way.

Bob is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sandra; his sons, David (Teresa) of Humble, TX, Darrin of Grand Forks, ND; daughters, Danine (Robert) Lenz of Thompson, ND, and Dawn (Brien) Lunski of Grafton, ND; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Georgia Johnson; a brother, Darrell Blair; and a grandchild, Chad Blair.
