Phyllis Ann McIntosh

Phyllis Ann McIntosh, born Phyllis Ann Kowalski on September 11, 1946 in Grafton, N.D., passed away peacefully on April 23, 2024. She was a homemaker who loved bingo, antiques, casino's,  and truly loved and enjoyed her family and friends. Phyllis enjoyed life and brought joy and humor to all those who knew her. She was raised in Minto, N.D. and moved around to several places before deciding to stay in Thief River Falls, MN. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Doug, parents Frank and Beatrice Kowalski, her sister Marion, and brother Frank Jr (Sonny). She is survived by her children, Jodie Buell, and John Riski, her sisters, Sharon (Tom) Fee, and Elizabeth (Betty) Schwartz, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Phyllis was a true sign of strength and endurance who was truly adored and loved by all those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her energy and spirit will stay with all of us, and she will be forever missed.

A family directed Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 28th, 2024 at 2:00PM in the chapel at Valley Senior Living on Columbia located at: 2900 14th Ave. S. Grand Forks, ND 58201.
