Paul Robert Lanes

To view the service use this link: https://youtu.be/4bwMGxUxbEA Paul R. Lanes, 70, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away on October 12, 2021, at Altru Hospital, from complications of a fall. Paul was born on November 13, 1950, in Grafton ND, the son of Harris and Jessie (Collins) Lanes. He grew up in Grand Forks, where he graduated from Red River High School. Following high school, he served in the US Army for two years. Paul worked as an electrician in the Dickenson, ND area and continued that work in Grand Forks before his retirement. Paul is survived by two sisters, Donna (Ron) Hintze, Fargo, ND and Lois Adams, Gulfport, MS. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Heidi Uglem, Fargo, ND; Tim (Deb) Uglem, Fargo, ND; Dan (Suzi) Ferencik, Ham Lake, MN; Michelle (Brian) Harrison, Houston, TX; and several great nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Harris and Jessie Lanes, sister Jane Ferencik, and brother David Lanes. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Altru Hospital.
