Paul Jon Eastman

Paul Jon Eastman, 55 of Crookston, Minnesota died Saturday, August 24, 2024, after a brief hospitalization under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley at his sister's home. 

Paul was born on November 30, 1968, the son of Loran and Pat (Aitchison) Eastman in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He attended elementary school in Roseau, Minnesota and graduated Valley City High School in 1987. Paul worked as a mechanic and also worked in construction and farming. In recent years, he has fostered pets for Scruffy Tails Humane Society in Crookston.

Paul is a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. Paul is survived by his mother and stepfather, Pat (Tom) Stoen of Valley City, ND; siblings, Pam (Randy) Anderson of East Grand Forks, MN; Eric Eastman of Little Falls, MN; Jim (Anne) Stoen of Sandy, UT and Julie Stoen of Omaha, NE; one niece and five nephews.Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents, father and stepmother, Loran and Marlene Eastman and nephew, Nick Anderson.

A family service to celebrate Paul's life will be scheduled at a later date. Memorials may be given to Scruffy Tails Humane Society (720 E. Robert St. Crookston, MN 56716)
