Patrick "Pat" Robertson

Patrick “Pat” Robertson, 72, Grand Forks, died Friday, May 27, 2022, at Essentia Health, Fargo, ND.

Pat was born November 1, 1949, the son of Roy and Esther (Brown) Robertson. He grew up in Grand Forks, where he graduated from Central High School in 1968.

He was drafted into the United States Army for Vietnam. After his honorable discharge in 1970, he returned to Grand Forks and started working for Pillsbury as a boiler operator. He worked for Pillsbury for 18 years. Pat then worked for Simplot as a boiler operator for 27 years until his retirement.

Pat was married the love of his life of 47 years, Kandy Deitz in 1975. Their union brought their blessed daughters Brandy and the favorite Amanda.

Pat liked to go hunting, spend time at the lake, and loved to ride his motorcycle and spend time with his family.

Pat is survived by his wife, Kandy; daughters: Brandy Keenan, Amanda (Ted) Hansen, grandchildren: Jordyn Keenan, Dylan Hansen, Jaxon Hansen; siblings: Gary, Florence, Jackie; mother-in-law: Delories Deitz, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law Robert Deitz, grandson Aaron, and siblings: Richard, Gene, Judy, and Frank.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Amundson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 1,2022, from 5 to 7 p.m. and will continue 1 hour prior to the start of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Altru Cancer Center.
