Patrick Morrison

It is with great sadness that the family of Patrick Robert Morrison announce his passing on July 5, 2020.

Patrick touched many lives as a loving father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. Patrick was born December 4, 1987 to Renee Belt and Lee Morrison. Patrick graduated from Hillsboro High School in 2006. He then became an apprentice electrician and soon after a journeyman electrician. His greatest accomplishment was his daughter Madalynn Renee Morrison named after his late mother Renee. She was light of his life and he loved her more than anything.

Patrick had the biggest, kindest heart. He always made his family laugh with his quick wit and spot on impressions. He loved to fish, hunt, listen to music, follow sports, learn about history and spend time with his family and friends.

He will be fondly and forever remembered by his daughter Madalynn Renee, his father Lee (Joelle) Morrison, sisters McKenzie (Matty) Cook and Hanna Morrison, brothers Matthew (Baileigh) Douin, and Jacob Morrison; grandmother Barb Belt, grandfather Pat Morrison; aunts Bobbie (James) Beal, Becky Belt, Robyn (Perry) Bancroft, Linda (Rod) Olson, Lisa Morrison; uncles Larry (Joni) Morrison, Steven (Andrea) Bonderud, nephew Beckett Douin, cousins, and many friends.

He leaves us rich in memories as he joins his mother Renee Belt Ronald, grandfather Robert Belt and grandmother Geraldine Morrison.

A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations for a trust to provide for Madalynn may be sent to the Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND 58201.
