Patrick E. Foley, age 87 passed away on June 19, 2023 at Altru hospital surrounded by loved ones. Pat was born on August 31, 1935 in Grand Forks ND, to Frank and Isabell (Irwin) Foley.
Pat grew up in Manvel, ND with 5 brothers and 6 sisters, he attended school in Manvel until going into the Air Force in December 1953. He was in the Airforce for 8 years getting out in December of 1961.
Pat was united in marriage to Roberta Schneider on January 21, 1963 in Everett, WA. They made their home In Everett having their 3 children, Leona, Pat and Bobbie. In March 1982 they moved to Reynolds ND and lived there until 1993 when they made their final move to Buxton ND.
Pat started working at Valley Contracting in 1983, the company was later bought out by Aggerate Industries where he retired from in 2008.
In his younger years Pat always enjoyed working, whether it was his day-to-day job, or buying and fixing cars, he had a huge passion for old cars, he always loved an old car show. Pat also enjoyed snowmobiling, he and family would travel to South Dakota every winter to ride in the hills.
In his later years you could always find Pat riding around on his side by side in Buxton, checking out the town and the people. He always loved spending time with his family, whether it was at home or a day at the lake. Pat also had a passion for watching the news and any other show he was into at the time. He always wanted people to do their duty and work hard, at the end he was tired and was ready to go home to the Lord.
His final words to his family were “LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED”
Pat is survived by his wife Roberta, Buxton ND, daughter Leona (Scott) Christie, Buxton ND, son Pat Foley, Fargo ND, and daughter Bobbie (Lee) Clark, Junction City, Kansas.
Siblings Marianne Braaten, Don (Karen) Foley, Judy (Gary) Anderson, Margie Lundeby, Dennis (Kay) Foley, Fran Scholand, and Connie (Doug) Beireis.
Grandchildren Brandi (Caleb) Christie, Ashley (Levi) Clark, Nicole (Jake) Pope, Tiffany (Sean) Taylor, Pat (PJ) Foley, Angela (Shane) Sager, Chris Foley, Micheal Foley, Teea (Raymond) Torres, Danson Foley and Jacob Knight.
And 22 great grandchildren.
Pat is preceded in death by his Parents, Frank and Isabell, Son Francis Foley, daughter Danika Lemm, Grandson David Foley, brothers Mike, Butch and Robert Foley, Sister Dorthey Nelson, Brother in Laws, Bruce Lundeby and Victor Scholand, Sister in Laws, Kay Foley and Annie Foley. And many aunts' uncles and cousins.
