Mark Todd Jacquemart

Mark Todd Jacquemart died on January 6th, 2025, at Altru Hospital after a lengthy battle with diabetes. He was born on March 13th, 1960, to Robert Jacquemart Sr. and Grace Morgan in Minneapolis, MN. He later moved to Grand Forks, ND, where he grew up and attended school. He graduated from Central High School in 1979 and went to Portland, OR, to study heavy machinery operation.

Although he held a certificate to operate heavy machinery, he chose to work as a carpenter for the entirety of his adult life. He was an amazing carpenter, often helping friends and family outside of work. He completed many jobs throughout the country involving hardwood flooring.

 Mark was a remarkable soul whose laughter and humor touched the lives of everyone around him. His circle of friends is a testament to his vibrant spirit, each holding onto countless funny stories that will be shared for years to come. Among those who cherished him most were his nieces and nephews, especially his beloved great-nephew, Rico Estrella. Their bond was something truly special; Rico spent much of his early childhood by Mark's side, creating a multitude of memories woven with fun, adventure, and unconditional love. Their favorite pastime was watching wrestling on TV and often attending WWE events at the Fargodome. They shared a unique connection that enriched both their lives. As we remember Mark, we celebrate the countless moments that will forever remain etched in our hearts.

 Mark is survived by his mother, Grace Morgan; brothers Robert Jacquemart Jr. (Lori) of Grand Forks, ND, and Patrick Jacquemart of Fargo, ND; sisters Shirli Jacquemart and Shari Rebarchek of Grand Forks, ND, and Lenore Sillik (Don) of Honey Creek, IA; Linda Morgan Syvertson (Jason)

of Grand Forks, ND; and Carol Gardner (Butch) of Grand Forks, ND. He is also survived by his uncle Richard Jacquemart Sr., ten nieces, seven nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

 Mark was preceded in death by his father, Robert Jacquemart Sr.; his sister, Monica Miller; his brother, Lanny Jacquemart; and his stepfather, Ralph Morgan.

 A family directed Celebration of Life for Mark  will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eagles Club in East Grand Forks, MN.
