Lori A. O'Dell

Lori A. O’Dell, age 51, of Saint Vincent, Minnesota, died Sunday, April 20, 2025, surrounded by the love of her husband, at the Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

A family-directed Memorial service will be held at a later date. 

Lori Ann Christlieb was born March 12, 1974, in Kendallville, Indiana, to Herbert and Grace (Arnold) Christlieb. Lori graduated from Prairie Heights High School in LaGrange, Indiana. During her working career, she worked as a store manager and more recently, as a cook. In October 2012, Lori was united in marriage to Alex O’Dell in Auburn, Indiana. Together, they traveled to 31 of 50 states and deeply cherished their road trips, especially to Salem, Massachusetts.

Lori enjoyed spending time in the solitude of her home with her family and decorating her home with year-round Christmas Trees that would change with the seasons. She embraced the art of sewing and quilting as a way to express her love and excitement for her growing family and grandchildren. Lori’s presence will be deeply missed.

Lori is survived by her husband, Alex O’Dell; children, Quintin (Kathryn) Shilling, Noah (Jennifer) Shilling, Mason (Delaney) Shilling, Hope (significant other Kyle Ankney) Shilling, and Terriann O’Dell; grandchildren, Hazel Shilling, Alice Shilling and Holden Ankney; mother, Grace Christlieb; and brother, Mike Christlieb. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert.
