Leo Shane Kasen passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on January 13th, 2023, due to suspected pneumonia.
Leo was born on December 3rd, 2021, to his parents David and Courtney and became the third born in a house of rambunctious boys. Leo means “lion like” and this little lion loved to make his presence known. He was always “saying” something by squawking, yelling, or crying for attention. He knew how to make his voice heard. The most predictable thing about Leo was his unpredictability and his ability to keep you on your toes. Leo loved to eat mama’s milk and oranges; and his favorite treats were bacon, frozen custard, and French fries. His big brother Alec was like his personal superhero, and he hated being away from both of his brothers. Bopping to music or just dancing when he was happy as well as trying to beat dad to the potted plants were also his favorites. Leo was loved by everyone he met. His absence will be felt every morning, mealtime, evening and every moment in between until we are reunited in Heaven.
Leo is survived by his parents David and Courtney, his brothers Alec and Noah, and his grandparents Eric and Connie Kasen and Crystal Hanson, as well as great grandparents, aunts, uncles, family and friends.
