Lawrence Mark Duray was born in Grafton, North Dakota on February 8, 1956, to William and Dorothy (Schultz) Duray. Larry lived in Grand Forks, North Dakota for a while until he and his parents moved to Crookston, Minnesota where he resided until 2020. He loved being a resident; Larry was spoiled by all while living there. He loved playing bingo, doing crafts, and taking part in all activities. Larry enjoyed being surrounded by people and observing them. He was always happy and excited when he received letters and family pictures in the mail; he looked forward to visits with his family and friends who would bring great joy. Larry was a kindhearted gentle soul who had a smile for everyone, especially for his sister, Mary, with whom he shared a special bond. Many holidays were shared over the years with Mary, Larry, and the family in their home.
Larry is survived by his sisters, Mary (Larry) Burger of Thompson, North Dakota, Betty Lien of Grafton, North Dakota; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy; brothers, Gene, Dan, Bill, Jerry, and John; and sister, Patricia Ruzicka.
