Larry Jallo, 61, Grand Forks, died January 10, 2020 in his home.
Larry was born September 27, 1958 in Park River, North Dakota, the son of Gene and Lois (Anderson) Jallo. He grew up in Michigan, North Dakota, where he was baptized and confirmed at Michigan Lutheran Church. He graduated from Michigan High School in 1977.
Larry worked as a bricklayer where he worked for various companies through the years. Larry loved to ride his Harley, go fishing, and hunting with his son Corey, and spending time with his cousins at the Jallo farm. The proudest moment of Larry’s life was when his son Corey was born. The love he had for him was truly undeniable.
Larry is survived by his son, Corey, Grand Forks, Corey’s mother and Larry’s close friend, Sherry Anderson, Grand Forks; brothers: Dale (Kelly) Grand Forks, Todd, Kailua Kona, HI, sister: Stacey (Larry) Baker, Sioux City, Iowa; step sisters: Dawn (Mike) Lovejoy-Grohs, Devils Lake, Denise Loveyjoy-Anderson, Michigan, ND, and several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gene, mother, Lois,brother, Troy, step-mother Sally, and several aunts and uncles.
Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Amundson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the start of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
