Lana Gail (Johnson) Weisgram, 46, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away surrounded by love and faith in her home, the morning of January 3rd, 2024. She was born on September 24, 1978, in Grand Forks to Orris Roger Johnson and Connie (Anderson) Bachmeier.
Lana graduated from Red River High School in 1997 and went on to study Accounting at Northland Technical College. Her professional life reflected her dedication and creativity, working as an accountant for Italian Moon and running her own Etsy shop specializing in Disney-inspired products.
On June 8, 2001, she married the love of her life, John M. Weisgram. Together, they built a beautiful family and raised three children: Sidney J. (Megan), Olivia M., and Ava L. Lana found immense joy in her role as a mother and took pride in witnessing her son, Sidney marrying her daughter-in-law, Megan in June 2023, her daughter, Olivia graduating college in 2024 and her daughter, Ava graduating high school and beginning college.
Lana's life was marked by her unwavering faith and her growing relationship with Jesus, which gave her strength and purpose. She was a beacon of love and kindness, deeply cherishing her family and friends. Her favorite memories included visiting Disney with both her family, and her Disney sister and best friend, Rebecca Hale. This was a place where her love for magic and imagination came alive.
She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. Lana is survived by her devoted husband, John; her beloved children, Sidney (Megan), Olivia, and Ava (Madyson); her parents, Orris Roger Johnson and Connie (Anderson) Bachmeier and Connie’s husband, Marcus; her parents-in-law Dave and Janet Weisgram; her brother, Cory (Valerie); sister-in-law, Tera (Grant); nephews , Rylee and Kasey; nieces, Rowan, Lillia, and Atley; her grandpuppies, Barron, Saoirse, and Siobhán; Rebecca Hale, Disney sister and best friend; and a large, loving network of extended family and friends.
A visitation will take place at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, January 8, 2024, at Hope Church in Grand Forks.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to support the family with unexpected funeral expenses.
