KRISTIN J ANDERSON

Kris Anderson, age 62 of Grand Forks, died on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at her home. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Drayton Lutheran Church.  Visitation will be 1 hour before and 1 hour after the service.   

Kristin Jean Anderson, daughter of Waldie Eugene and Jean Mable (Rath) Anderson, was born in Drayton on September 19, 1957.  Starting her working while still in high school at the Dairy Queen and Curnal’s Dakota Fried Chicken in Drayton. She had a good work ethic that she got from her mother and father, after graduating from the University of North Dakota, she dedicated her life to serving people in need, serving as a drug and alcohol counselor and as a care provider for people with disabilities.  Most notably, she worked at Father Flannigan’s Boys Town, Hazelden, and Job Corps.  She was a fun aunt with an irreverent sense of humor, and an avid collector.

She is survived by her brothers, Kevin (Rhonda) Anderson of PA and Michael (Julie) Anderson of FL; several nieces and nephews:  Eric (Valerie), Alyssa (Josue), Zachary (Abigail), Christopher, Chad, Reganne and Tucker.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial to Drayton Lutheran Church or Drayton Ambulance association.
