November 2, 1932 - December 13, 2019

 

Joyce Elaine (Morgan) Hoverson passed away peacefully at home in Gilbert, AZ, on December 13, 2019. She was born to Abner (Pete) and Mary Elizabeth (Lott) Morgan in Homestead, Florida, on November 2, 1932. Joyce grew up in the church and accepted Jesus as her Savior at 8 years old. She loved serving Him wherever she felt called to do so. Joyce was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Manvel, ND.  She graduated from Homestead High School in 1950. She attended business school in Miami, Florida, and worked at a bank in Homestead. Joyce met her husband, Bill, while he was working for a farmer in Florida during the winter months. They married in 1953 and had three children. Spending time with Bill, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her great joy.

She leaves behind her children, Wayne (Jane) Hoverson, Gilbert, AZ and Beth (Greg) Olimb, Gilbert, AZ, and daughter-in-law, Bonnie Hoverson, Manvel, ND; grandchildren Chad (Janet) Hoverson, Grand Forks, ND, Justin (Rosa) Hoverson, Gilbert, AZ, Amanda Hoverson, Manvel, ND, Cory (Courtney) Hoverson, Chandler, AZ, Haley (Matt) Collins, Gilbert, AZ, Jeremy (Rachel) Olimb, Gilbert, AZ, Lance (Sarah) Olimb, Tallahassee, FL, and Dana Olimb, Gilbert, AZ; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Ben, Austin, Bree (Sean), Abbie, Luke, Rylan, Christian, Sebastian, Kaeden, Tatiyana, Hudson, Hensley, Haydin, Gavin, Grayson, Asher, Beck, Micah, Mason and Reid.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, son, Bob, great-grandson, Paxon Olimb, brother, Bobby Morgan, and her parents.

A Celebration of Life and burial will be held at a later date.
