Jordan James Kramer, 35, passed away unexpectedly November 15th, 2023, in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Jordan was born September 20th, 1988, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, to Donald Kramer and Barbara White Kramer.
He was baptized in the Catholic faith in November of 1988, Godparents; Eugene Kramer Jr. and Brenda White McCauley.
Jordan attended the Grand Forks Christian School through middle school and continued on to Grand Forks Central High School, where he graduated in 2007.
Jordan joined the military in 2009, where he was in the 82nd Airborne for 6 years, including two tours to Afghanistan and was honorably discharged in 2015.
Jordan continued his education at the University of North Dakota with a graduation date of December 2018, with degrees in Business and Communications. He married Clare Shaw in 2019 in Grand Forks.
Jordan worked several jobs: the insurance industry, driving and supervising for UPS, with the main job being serving his country for six years.
His passions included soccer, hockey, skateboarding, playing video games with friends, and making sure his dog Luna fetched every ball.
Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jim and Phyllis White and paternal grandmother, Ann Kramer.
Survived by his father and stepmother, Don and Carla Kramer, mother, Barb Kramer, brothers Taylor and Jayden Kramer, step siblings Keilani Holweger , Kiara Holweger, Zakery Kramer, Tanner (Anna) Simmers, Toby Morken Simmers, Tiahna (Alex) Edevold (Grand Forks), Tyler Simmers (St. Paul, MN), and grandfather Eugene Kramer (Grand Forks).
.Several nieces and nephews, Veda, Selah, Renee, Alma, Willa (Grand Forks), and Rowan and Simon (St. Paul, MN). As well as, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jordan had two furry companions too, his dog Luna and his cat Bo.
The funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, November 22nd, at Hope Church in Grand Forks, North Dakota, with Pastor Paul Knight officiating. A livestream of the service is available with this link https://youtube.com/@HOPEfunerals?si=nSRtwetXZQ4m9xxu
Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the start of the service. Military honors will be presented.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Veterans Memorial Park or to
the Circle of Friends Humane Society, both in Grand Forks.
