Jeff Linderman

January 9, 1963 — March 8, 2024

Jeff Linderman, age 61, longtime resident of Grand Forks, ND, died on March 8, 2024.

Jeffrey Paul Linderman was born on January 9, 1963, in Park River, ND. He was the eldest of two children born to Paul W. and Virginia (Glewwe) Linderman. Jeff moved with his parents from Park River to Grand Forks at an early age. He attended school along with his younger sister, Marica, graduating from Red River High School with the Class of 1981. Following his high school graduation, he attended UND and graduated in 1985 with a degree in Industrial Technology.

Jeff lived most of his life in Grand Forks. The only exception was the five year span he spent working for a landscaping company in Escondido, CA. Jeff enjoyed North Dakota far too much to stay away for too long. After returning from California, he worked primarily as a service writer for Rydell Auto Dealerships and Hall Trucking. He most recently worked for Freightliner.

Jeff enjoyed spending his time outdoors, especially at his lake place on Pelican Lake. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, even taking a once in a lifetime fishing trip to Alaska. Those who knew Jeff, also knew he was a loyal UND Hockey and Football fan! He was also an avid reader reading anything he could get his hands on. Above all he enjoyed the company of his feline companions. He also thought it was important to stay in touch with friends who lived out of town or had moved away.

Jeff is survived by his parents: Paul and Virginia Linderman of Grand Forks; sister, Marcia Scholler, along with numerous other friends and family members.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Per Jeff’s request, a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
