Janine Ann Larson, 58, a lifelong resident of Grand Forks, passed away at Altru Hospital with her loving husband by her side on August 17, 2024.
Janine Ann Larson was born on February 7, 1966, in Grand Forks ND, to Duane and Janice Larson. She attended school in Grand Forks and finished at Red River High School. On November 1, Janine married Darrell Noyes, and together they shared 43 years of love and partnership. Their marriage was blessed with two children: Heather and Jennifer.
Janine’s life was dedicated to nurturing others, whether through her career in childcare or her 23 years of service as a custodian at Phoenix Elementary School. She was a remarkable woman known for her unwavering love for children and her strong work ethic. Throughout this time, she made many long lasting friendships.
Her interests were as varied as they were heartfelt. From crafting and creating personalized t-shirts for others to doing her nails and receiving countless compliments. Janine found pleasure in life’s simple pleasures. She cherished time spent at the lake, but nothing brought her more happiness than going Uber rides with her husband and their beloved companion, Oakley and watching NASCAR racing. Above all, Janine treasured the moments she spent with family, especially her loving husband, who was her rock throughout her health fight.
Janine is survived by her mother, Janice Larson; her loving husband, Darrell Noyes; her children, Heather Noyes and Jennifer Gefroh (Mike); and her cherished grandchildren: Jayden Sherer, Carter and Chase Clark, Camden, Jazlyn and Easton Gefroh. She also leaves behind her siblings, Dale (Michelle) Larson, Brenda Larson (Dale), Brian Larson, and Scottie (Jena) Larson, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Duane Larson.
