James (Jim) Michael Malcolm ,67, passed away December 12th, 2021 at the Altru Hospital from a sudden battle with cancer. Jim leaves behind his girlfriend of over ten years, Lindsay. Jim moved from New Jersey, where he was originally from, to be with Lindsay. Jim is survived by his sister Janet, brothers Kevin, Brian (Debi), David, and Joe (Marilyn). Jim's knowledge on movies, history, photography, computers, guns, and tools was astounding. He could remember almost every detail, date, name and number. If you were one of the lucky people that he put his trust in, you would get to listen to his stories and his facts about all subjects that he was interested in. Through the years Jim had many different jobs. Working with rescued wolf dogs, building and repairing computers, an emergency responder, a locksmith, and many more. When he came to North Dakota, Jim worked at LM Wind Power. Jim had an enormous and generous heart when it came to animals. He would always cross the street and ask if he could meet the dog that was being walked. Every chance that he was able to, he would donate money to animal rescues. Jim asked that there not be a funeral service. In memory of Jim, please consider donating to an animal rescue charity.
