Gordon Emil Severinson

Our beloved husband and father, Gordon passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday night, November 23, 2022, in Grand Forks at the age of 66.

Gordon was the youngest son born to Harold LeRoy & Berniece Eleanor (Hagen) Severinson, on August 28, 1956.    He was born at the Deaconess Hospital in Grand Forks.

He went to primary school at Central Valley School in Reynolds, ND, where he resided for 65 years. 

Gordon studied one year of Business at Mayville State University, and then went to work for his dad at the Farmer's Oil Co-Op.  

He enjoyed doing various painting jobs throughout his life.  He retired from the University of North Dakota after 21 years of employment.

Gordon was a man that would unfailingly drop everything to help someone who needed it. 

Family was everything to Gordon.  He always made it known how much in love he was with his wife, Elizabeth, and the great pride and love he had for their daughter, Violet.

Everyone who knew him, know Gordon had a heart bigger than the galaxy.

Gordon had a knack of making you smile and even chuckle, on any given day at any given moment. 

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Violet Ingeborg; sisters, Shirley Moore, Corine Solberg, Kathy Hutton; brother, Everette and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and 1, great-great-nephew.

Gordon is preceded in death by his parents.

Gordon was both an amazing husband and father.   You will never be forgotten and forever loved and missed! 

A memorial gathering to share memories and express our love for Gordon Severinson on Saturday, December 3, from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. at the Reynolds Lutheran Church in Reynolds, ND.
