Gloria Valgren

Gloria Ann Valgren, 82, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024, in Ellendale, ND. 

 Born on February 23, 1942, in Clearbrook, MN, she was the daughter of Walter and Clara (Olson) Holm. 

 Gloria dedicated her career to nursing, retiring from Altru Medical Center.

 In her free time, Gloria enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including gardening, baking, sewing, and crocheting. 

 She is survived by her daughters, Angela Peterson, and Lisa Cavanaugh, as well as seven grandchildren: Brittney, Nicholas, Amanda, Andrew, Aaron, Adam, and Marc, and five great-grandchildren: Justyce, Owen, Eleanor, Wesley, and Adaline. 

 She was preceded in death by her husband Herb, parents and her daughter, Tisha Valgren.

 Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the church. Burial will be in Memorial Park North Cemetery, Grand Forks.
