Gail Lillian Kiefat was born on February 19, 1947 in Grand Forks, ND, the first daughter of George and Lillian Kiefat.
She married the love of her life Richard Kranzler in 1967 and would ultimately spend over 60 years, over 55 years married, with Richard. Gail and Richard spent most of their life together in Los Angeles, CA, making their home there for over 30 years. Gail fulfilled her most desired goal in life, to be a mom, in January 1980 with son Christopher, and again in June 1981 with daughter Robyn. As her children grew, Gail would become “mom” to countless neighborhood and daycare children, many of whom would remember her with love into adulthood. Gail and Richard retired to Henderson, NV in 2012, where they would spend over 10 years impressing friends and neighbors with the depth of their love for each other.
In 2019, Gail was blessed with one of the greatest gifts of her life when she became Grammy to Maddison Ann, who she considered to be the most beautiful baby born.
Gail passed at home in Henderson at the age of 76, following closely after her beloved husband, and in the arms of her son and daughter.
Throughout her life, Gail was happiest being caregiver and mother to everyone around her and will always be remembered for the love and acceptance the home she created offered. Gail is survived by son, Christopher; daughter, Robyn; daughter-in-law, Stacy; and granddaughter, Maddison.
