Evelyn Powers Eisenzimmer, age 101, died May 6, 2022 at Valley Senior Living on Columbia Rd., Grand Forks, ND.  She was born April 3^rd 1921 in Devils Lake, North Dakota and was the daughter of Morris and Mary (Eisile) Powers. She graduated from Devils Lake North Dakota high school and attended Aaker Business College.

She married Kasper Eisenzimmer on July 14, 1942 and was married for 63 years.  She was employed as a secretary for Eisenzimmer Construction Company and Valley Park Real Estate for 25 years. They made their home in Grand Forks North Dakota and spent 20 years in Mesa, Arizona for the winter.  They both enjoyed traveling, golfing and dancing.

She is survived by her daughters,  Elaine (Larry)  Hadland, Grand Forks, and Gayle Bowen, Park City, Utah;  daughter in-law Joyce Eisenzimmer, Grand Forks;  6 grandchildren,  Chris (Jamie) Hadland, Kelly (Matt) Betker, Melissa (Tony) Huffman, Karli (Richard) Bair, Rick (Jane) Eisenzimmer, and Jay (Mae) Eisenzimmer; great grandchildren,  Ryan and Luke Hadland, Noah Betker, and Jaden and Avery Estrada.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Irene Reardon, brothers Laurence and Leo Powers, baby son Gary, and  son Doug.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Red River Valley Hospice and Valley Senior Living on Columbia Rd., for all the love, compassion, care and support they gave to our mom, grandma, and family. We really appreciate all of you.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in Amundson Funeral Home, Grand Forks.  Inurnment will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks.
