Eric Steven Laubach

Eric S. Laubach, 44 of Grand Forks, North Dakota died Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Eric was born on January 14, 1980, the son of Earl and Birgit (Herrmann) Laubach in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He was raised in Kodiak, Alaska and graduated high school in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a young man he served in the United States Air Force. Eric was united in marriage to Kristina Hewitt on August 8, 2003. Through this union, he achieved the greatest accomplishment in his life, his sons, Isaac and Ethan. They were his pride and joy. 

Eric owned and operated the House of Vacuums in the mall. He worked extremely hard and truly enjoyed helping and working with his customers in every way he could. Eric played the drums and his guitars. He was a car enthusiast, a gamer and enjoyed panning gold and also enjoyed using metal detectors.

Eric is survived by his two sons, Isaac and Ethan Laubach both of Grand Forks, ND.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents. Though he will be missed by friends, family, associates, and distant customers alike. He will be remembered forever.
