Donald Bradley Bartlette

Donald B. Bartlette, 69, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 29 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Don was born August 31, 1951, in Grand Forks, ND, the son of John & Irene (Venne) Bartlette.   He grew up in Grand Forks and graduated from GF Central High School.

He married Jeanne Ganyo on February 12, 1981 in Grand Forks.  Together they raised 3 children.

Don worked for Simplot, Bradshaw Trucking, and most recently drove truck for CHS for 24yrs before his retirement in 2019.

He enjoyed trucking, fishing, grill-outs, watching westerns and wrestling and most of all spending time with grandchildren.

Don is survived by his wife, Jeanne; sons, DJ and Jake Bartlette; daughter, Nikki Bartlette; sisters, Sharon Sondreal and Beverly Miller; brothers, Vern, Ronald “Cosmo” & John Bartlette; grandchildren, Katie, Kendle and Ava and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his mother and father-in-law, Walter & Delores Ganyo; brothers, Allen Roy & Ricky Indridason and Lonnie Bartlette; grandson, Joshua Bartlette; brother-in-law, Lawrence Ganyo; sisters-in-law, Catherine Ganyo, Pamela Ganyo, Patricia Gelinas and Joy Bartlette.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 7 at Amundson Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.
