Debra Carlson

Debra Carlson, 65 of Grand Forks ND went home to her Lord and Savior the morning of May 31, 2020.

Deb was born November 11th 1954 in Plentywood,  Montana. Deb spent her early years caring for her Grandmother Norah. Norah lived with Deb and her family and brought Deb an abundance of joy. Deb worked for Good Samaritan Nursing Center and in her later years at REM serving those with intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Deb loved serving others and caring for them.

Deb married John Carlson on November 27, 2004. She enjoyed spending time with her husband John at their lake home in Devils Lake, Deb enjoyed visiting with John's parents,his children and spending time together. Deb enjoyed lunch and church dates with her son Bryan and Daughter in Law Megan, she enjoyed talking with friends and family and especially laughing and enjoying life.

Deb adored her Son Bryan, Grandson Brennan and her dog Macy, she could talk for hours about Macy’s dog training and how very proud she was of Brennan and how much of a wonderful man she had raised when speaking of Bryan, it never got old.

Deb will be remembered for her bold but loving personality, her infectious laugh, her serving nature, her love for her family, friends and her love for Christ.

A Private Memorial will be held at Amundson Funeral Home Thursday June 4, 2020.
