Dawn Ellen Swann

Dawn Ellen Swann, 52, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at her home in Grand Forks, ND.

Dawn was born June 9, 1966, in Salt Lake City, UT, the daughter of Elvin and Shelby (Reierson) Ostmo. 

Dawn was a loving mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend.  She decided to dedicate her entire life to raising her children at home and never regretted not pursuing a career. She did not quit helping or nurturing as her children moved out, but instead stayed involved in her children and grandchildren’s daily lives. 

She never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone who crossed her path, and always greeted everyone with a smile that could brighten the worse of days.  Her life’s purpose was to help others, and to improve her loved ones lives.  She wouldn’t hesitate to give away her last dollar if her family was in need. Dawn taught us all what unconditional love is.

Dawn is survived by her children, Travis Holt, Gabriel Swann III, twin daughters, Alicia Swann & Andrea Swann; grandchildren, Tristan, Riley, Marcus, Zachary, Audrina, Liam, Aspen, Delilah, Natalia and Conner; her companion, Harold Schill Sr; 6 sisters and 1 brother and many nieces, nephews and cousins whom she enjoyed spending time with. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvin and Shelby.

A private memorial services will be held at a later date.
