Craig Alan Parkhurst – July 19, 1987 to March 14, 2023
On March 14th, Craig Alan Parkhurst of Grand Forks, ND was called to heaven.
Craig was a kind and thoughtful soul and will be missed and remembered by all who loved him dearly. Even though he worried us to death, he was someone who was taken too soon. Those whom you left will miss you each and every day and will find things that remined us of you every day.
Throughout Craig’s life, he held various trade jobs while battling mental health and addiction, and , as many will attest, Craig was one of the most skilled welders and fabricators employed and was a dedicated employee while employed.
Craig was born July 19, 1987 in Oakes, ND and received his GED in 2006, and went on to certify in welding.
He is survived by his loving parents, Matt and Susie Parkhurst (Gilby, ND); brother, Wes Parkhurst (Ashley) of Oslo, MN; sister, Alicia Hanson (Jaerod) of Hatton, ND; nephews, Camden Parkhurst, Deegan Parkhurst, Tate Hanson, Chett Hanson, Kashe Hanson, and nieces, Jaida Parkhurst, Haven Parkhust and Kypp Hanson and several aunts, uncles, and cousins that will miss him a great deal.
Craig was preceded in death by Grandma Dot (Seattle, WA), and Grandma and Grandpa Parkhurst, both of New Whiteland, IN.
As you soar among the clouds and the heavens, we ask that you watch over us and keep us safe.
Funeral services will be held on March 18th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Amundson Funeral Home (2975 S. 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND), with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Pastor Jamie Norstog will be officiating this lovely service.
