Corrine Kay Hagen

She was born on January 17, 1938 to Cora (Larson) & Kittel Rynestad of Kelly’s Slough/rural Grand Forks County. In 1955 Corrine graduated from Central High School in Grand Forks, ND. In 1959, she was united in marriage to Hubert Hagen, of Gilby, ND. Together they made a loving home & were blessed with four daughters, Cora Moen, Doreen (Tim) Lindsey, Heidi (Todd) Hagen-Johnson and LouAnn Hagen. She had five grandchildren and one great grandson who she loved fiercely & adored: Kaitlin (Benjamin) Woods, Susanna (Donovan) Blue, Kurt Hubert Hansen, Jordan Hagen Johnson, Jake Hagen Johnson and Liam Gregory Woods. Bonus daughter, Kelly Fladland, who mutually cared deeply for one another. Corrine worked in the banking industry until she focused on raising her daughters. She enjoyed each & every minute spent with her family & always gave selflessly. She had many hobbies including calling family members daily, attending church & fellowship, cheering on her grandchildren, crossword puzzles & Sudoku, Watching Days of Our Lives, FaceBook, playing Candy Crush & she especially loved a clean house & nice clothes. Corrine is survived by her daughters, grandchildren & great grandson, sisters: Dolores (Mike) Heggestuen and Karen (Lonnie) Sarbaum, brother-in-law & sister-in-law: Donald & Cheryl Hagen & numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sister: Betty Russell and brothers: Lloyd Rynestad & Tom Rynestad & son-in-law Gregory Moen. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Red River Valley, St. Paul’s Church of Honeyford or a cemetery fund of your choice.
