Bryan Michael Krom, age 49 of Fargo ND, passed away on Wednesday, August 2nd 2023 at Sanford Hospital due to heart complications. He was surrounded by family and God’s grace.
Bryan was born in Grand Forks ND on January 28th, 1974 to Gary and Nancy (Thompson) Krom. He grew up on the farm near Thompson ND. During his childhood he enjoyed being around the farm animals, riding and racing dirt bikes, and fishing. He had many happy times with neighborhood kids who became lifelong friends. He was baptized and confirmed at East Walle Lutheran Church. He graduated from Central Valley High School in 1992.
Bryan was a hard worker his whole life. He started doing farm work for his cousin at age 12, worked at a car wash during high school, and later worked for Countrywide Sanitation. He enjoyed cars and trucks and most of his work involved driving. Most recently he drove truck to area farmers to pick up soybeans. He also enjoyed tinkering with his old ’39 chevy.
Bryan was a free spirit who knew everyone, young and old. He had a wonderful laugh and made others laugh often. He loved his family, always ending his calls to his Mom and Dad with “I love you guys.”
Bryan is survived by his parents, Gary and Nancy Krom, his sister Angela (Justin) Fournier, his nephew Bleu Fournier, and many other cherished family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Gordon (Gordy) and Elaine Thompson, Ed and Mary Krom, and uncle Loren Krom.
Memorial service will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at East Walle Lutheran Church, Rural Thompson.
Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the start of the service at the church.
