Brad L. Gaudry, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many, passed away under the care of hospice on July 31, 2024, in Minto, North Dakota.

Bradley Lynn Gaudry was born on April 18, 1948, in Ft. Frances, Ontario to Myland "Mylie" and Evelyn (Kreger) Gaudry. Education was a priority for Bradley as he attended school in Rainy River, ON, then moved to Minnesota where he graduated with the Class of 1966 from Thief River Falls. He further pursued higher education and obtained a bachelor's degree from the University of North Dakota. On October 29, 1988, he married Joni R. Wavra at United Lutheran Church in Grand Forks.

Bradley led a remarkable life filled with dedication and passion. He began his career at Ryan Potato Company before venturing into entrepreneurship by purchasing and running Minto Flying and Minto Ag Center. His commitment to his work was admirable until his retirement in 2018 when he passed on his legacy to Trevor and Brittney Slominski.

Flying was not just a hobby for Bradley; it was a lifelong love instilled by his father at a tender age of 14. Alongside his flying adventures, he found solace in spending time with his loved ones and cherished moments with his friends and family. Bradley was an active member of the Minto community where he volunteered at the Minto Community Center and contributed towards various initiatives that uplifted the town he called home. In his leisure time, Bradley enjoyed winters in Arizona with Joni by his side – embracing the warm weather alongside their friends which brought them immense joy and relaxation.

Brad will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Joni Gaudry; children: Derek (Angie) Gaudry and Amber Gaudry; grandchildren: Parker Gaudry and Dalton Galicia; siblings: Daryl Gaudry, Duane (Susan) Gaudry, Sandra Brandt; mother-in-law, Gaylene Wavra; bother-in-law, Jon (Jeanna) Wavra; sister-in-law, Ellen Gaudry; bonus Mom, Roberta Gaudry and bonus sister, Janet (George) Wenk, along with many other nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Jack Wavra; brother-in-law, Mark Wavra; sisters-in-law, Roberta Wavra and Marlene Gaudry.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 17 at the Minto Community Center. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.
