Beverly A. Wegge, 86, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022, at the Valley Senior Living Home in Grand Forks, ND.
The sun rose and the world welcomed Beverly Ann Quist on August 4, 1935, in Grafton, ND, a day the world became a little brighter, to parents Wallace and Annie (Carlson) Quist. After graduating from Grafton High School in 1952, she moved to Grand Forks and went to work in the admitting department at Deaconess Hospital and later Altru Health System, retiring from Altru after almost 50 years of service. Beverly married Darrell Wegge on December 2, 1957, and the couple made their home in Grand Forks.
Beverly enjoyed watching Sioux hockey, working puzzles, taking day trips, vacationing to Las Vegas and California, and cooking and baking for everyone. She was a devoted wife and mother, as well as an accomplished bingo player and bowler.
Beverly, our sweet, kind Mother, will be deeply missed and survived by her daughter, Sherry (David) Roe; daughter, Debbie (Steve) Raasakka; son, Jeff Wegge; daughter-in-law, Michelle Stevens; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Lydia Kelly; sister-in-law, Bonnie (Larry) Dvorak; and brother-in-law, Gary Skeim. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darrell Wegge; and son, Mark Wegge.
May she rest in Peace, Love and Light.
