Beverly Comeau Brusegaard

Beverly Comeau Brusegaard, 85, Grand Forks, ND, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025, in Altru Hospital of Grand Forks.

Beverly Ann Palloch was born December 25, 1939 in West Fargo, ND. She was raised in West Fargo and graduated from high school there in 1958. Beverly married Maurice Comeau on August 15, 1959, in West Fargo. They lived in Hoyt Lakes, MN and in Wisconsin before moving to Grand Forks in 1970. Maurice Comeau died January 22, 1992.

Beverly married Don Brusegaard on December 4th 1993. They lived in Gilby, ND. Don died January 31st 2002.

Beverly was regularly active in Holy Family Catholic Church of Grand Forks. She was also an avid seamstress and enjoyed numerous crafts. Beverly was happy going out for lunch or just for coffee and conversation.

Survivors include her children, Bart (Deb Funk) Comeau, Cold Spring, MN, and Kurt (Bridgot Reis Comeau) Comeau, Grand Forks; step children, Margo (Paul) Brusegaard Trocke, Burnsville, MN, and Tom Brusegaard, Gilby, ND; grandchildren, Ethan Comeau (Fiancé, Lauren Dub), Madeline (Kole Hermanson) Comeau, and Bronwyn (Danny McDonald) Comeau; step grandchildren, Mason Trocke and Spencer Trocke; siblings, Vivian Weber, Henderson, NV and Delano (Patty) Palloch, Moorhead, MN.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husbands, Maurice Comeau and Don Brusegaard; and a granddaughter, Shandi Comeau.

Visitation will be Friday, March 14, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM followed by a 7:00 PM prayer service at Holy Family Catholic Church, Grand Forks. Visitation will continue on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will be at Calvary North Catholic Cemetery, Grand Forks at a later date.
