Beth Nasset

October 24, 1943 — September 4, 2022

Beth Nasset, 78, Grand Forks, ND, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022 after a long, hard fought battle with breast cancer with her girls by her side.

Beth was born on October 24, 1943 to Bert and Wynsel Monson at Northwood, North Dakota. Her younger years were spent on the family farm outside of Reynolds, ND where she attended school.  The family also lived in California for a time before moving back to Grand Forks where she graduated from Central High School.

In 1961 Beth married her high school sweetheart, Raymond Kuster.  The couple made their home just outside of Grand Forks on the family farm where they raised their two daughters.

In 1967 Beth went to Wapheton School of Nursing and earned her LPN degree.  Beth was very  proud of being a nurse.  She worked in many different facilities, most being retirement homes.

Ray and Beth divorced in 1974.  She later married Brooks Nasset.  They too divorced. 

Beth loved playing cards and board games with friends and family.  She was and excellent cook! In her 60’s she learned how to play golf. 

Beth was a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She enjoyed all the family gatherings. 

Survivors are her daughters, Jamie (Randy) Ostgard, Grand Forks, and Stacy Kuster (Randy Boe) McIntosh, MN; grandsons, Dustin (Amber) Ostgard, Grand Forks, and Jacob Ostgard (Annie Rumohr) of Fargo, ND;  great-granddaughters, Maylee and Madilyn Ostgard;  two brothers, Aaron and Reed, both of California.  She was preceded  in death by her parents and an infant brother, Kyle.

Memorial Services will be 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2022 in Amundson Funeral Home, Grand Forks with  visitation one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.  Memorials can be made to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
