Beatrice G. Neisch died June 26, 2021 in Bartlett, Tennessee, where she currently resided.
Beatrice G. (Loll) Neisch was born on March 31, 1926 at Great Bend, ND. Her parents were Carl and Gertrude (Zietlow) Loll. She went through grade school in Great Bend and went to Wahpeton High School, graduating in 1944. After attending Moorhead and Valley City Colleges several summers, she taught in rural schools for 5 years during World War II.
Beatrice married Norman Neisch on May 30, 1948 in the Evangelical Church in Great Bend and were blessed to be married 53 years. They lived in Great Bend, Fargo, Crosby, Dickinson, and Grand Forks where she was active in some capacity in church work in each place they lived. They belonged to the Good Sam travel club and loved camping.
Beatrice was a member of Zion United Methodist Church from 1965 until 2018 when she moved to live with her daughter in Bartlett, TN. Recently, she enjoyed the services at Zion via video streaming. Beatrice often expressed her gratitude for her many loyal friends, neighbors, and Good Sam campmates who provided transportation to church, shopping, and assisted with household tasks. She loved her family, corresponded with many friends, loved plants and pets, especially cats. She enjoyed watching Lawrence Welk videos and any program with gospel music or hymns.
Beatrice is survived by three children – son, Brent (Julie) Neisch, Clearwater, MN; daughter Peggy (William) Andrews, Hampton, VA; and Charlene (Jeffrey) Breyer of Bartlett, TN. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren -Jeremiah Neisch, Madrid, Spain; Joshua Neisch, Monticello, MN; Amanda Neisch, Minneapolis, MN; Carl (Rachel) Andrews, Hampton, VA; Scott (Valerie) Andrews, Hampton, VA; Michael (Sandra) Andrews, Hampton, VA; Katie (Charlie) Breyer Busby, Memphis, TN; Alex Breyer, Grand Forks, ND; 2 great grandchildren- Aden Andrews, Hampton, VA and Brianna Petersen, Hampton, VA; many nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law Mary (Duane) Loll and DiAnn (Stanley) Loll of Wahpeton, ND. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman, her parents, brothers Raymond, Stanley, Cyril, and Duane Loll and sister Joyce Nyland.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2021 in Amundson Funeral Home, Grand Forks.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2021 in Zion United Methodist Church, Grand Forks with interment to follow in Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks.
