Ann Jeanette Harris, age 62 of Grand Forks, died on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Ann Jeanette Harris, a daughter of Thomas and Viola Lloyd, was born on July 26, 1957 in Salt Lake City, UT. She was reared and educated in Payson, UT, graduating from Payson High School in 1975. She attended Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI. In 1977 she entered the US Air Force and was honorably discharge in 1982. Ann received a Bachelors in Social Work for Northern Michigan University. On February 13, 1981 she was married to Matthew Harris. This marriage later ended. Later she worked at Envoy Air in Irving, Texas as a Curriculum Director. She moved to Grand Forks in 2016 when she retired. She has continued to make Grand Forks her home.

She enjoyed painting and doing arts and crafts. Ann loved spending time with her family and friends and participating in church groups.

She is survived by her son, Dameon  Harris and his wife, Cassie of Michigan; her daughter, Samantha Harris  and her husband, Lonnie Abels Jr. of Texas; grandchildren, Wyatt Harris, Sofia Harris, Madiah Harris and Christian Abels; brothers, Dan Lloyd of Colorado; sister Virginia (Scott) Cleveland  of North Dakota; step siblings, Terva Gurley of Texas, Francine Jeffers of Texas, Shari Jameson of Oregon and Gary Rifer of Washington; Niece and Nephews, Jeffrey Cleveland, Aubrey Cleveland, Gregory Cleveland, and Bethaney Cleveland and several more.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents and a step-bother, Shadley Lloyd.

A memorial service will be held on Santaquin, UT at a later date.
