Abe J. Boushee, 43 of Brandon, South Dakota died Thursday, February 13, 2025, in Brandon, South Dakota. 

Abe was born on October 26, 1981, the son of David and Linda (Norman) Boushee in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He was raised and educated in East Grand Forks, Minnesota, graduating from East Grand Forks High School. Abe worked as a diesel mechanic most of his life. He started at IPS in Grand Forks until transferring to I-State Truck Center, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Abe eventually started Northern Lights Diesel Repair Shop LLC in Tea, South Dakota in 2021. He was united in marriage to Jennifer Butler in Venice Beach, Florida on December 4, 2020. They made their home in Brandon, South Dakota.

Abe loved riding his motorcycle, traveling, attending live music concerts, home improvement projects and working on anything that needed to be fixed. Abe’s greatest joy was time spent with his wife and his children.

Abe is survived by his wife, Jennifer Boushee; his children, AJ, Annabelle, Skyler and Sesalie; mother, Linda Otto, brothers, Corey (Jennifer), Josh (DeeAnn), and Gabriel (Krissy); seven nephews and one niece; many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Abe was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father, David Boushee.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2025, at Amundson Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m.
